About Larry Roach

Teacher Counselor Author

Two men sitting outdoors, one wearing glasses and a hat, gesturing with his hand, surrounded by greenery and a building in the background.

Larry Roach is a Biblical Teacher, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Ret.) with specialization in Christian Counseling, and Author with decades of experience at the intersection of biblical theology and applied psychology. His work is grounded in the conviction that the truths of the gospel are not only spiritually sufficient but psychologically specific. Consequently, what God has said about the human heart in Scripture corresponds precisely to what researchers have discovered about how the mind actually works.

He is the author of The Covered Life Series, a three-book integration of biblical theology and evidence-based psychology for believers who are tired of covering their authentic identity and ready to receive what grace has already achieved.

His writing grows from the inside out. The struggles this series addresses are not just problems he has studied from a clinical distance. They are wounds he has lived with, named, and carried to the grace that is the only adequate answer for them. That is the commitment behind every page: not expertise offered from an ivory tower, but hard-won honesty offered in the hope that someone else’s path to grace might be shorter.
